This product is different from any other eye shadow base I have tried. It goes on clear and feels pretty sticky. I found that it's best to sort of pat it onto my eyelids instead of trying to smooth it on in a rubbing motion. But it really does perform! I thought eye shadow would stick to it and not blend smoothly, but that was not the case at all. Eye shadow went on smoothly over this and it lasted all day, no creases in sight! This basically works like eye shadow glue. I was very impressed.

I have been using this as an eyeshadow primer because until just now today, I didn't really know what this product is for. I applied it and then applied my regular eyeshadow on after it dried. I don't own any glitter or shimmer eyeshadow, but it does give my ordinary eyeshadow some serious staying power. I would be inclined to buy some glitter shadow just to see the effect, but I'm happy with it just as an eyeshadow primer. I do appreciate products like this in my Glossybox. This is the type of thing it would never occur to me to buy.

I've got to say, this thing delivers as promised! I wore the same eyeshadow two days in a row, once with and once without the base. Day 1, it was gone within hours. Day 2, with the base, I had to use makeup remover in the evening. Love it!

I found that this product is not great for everyday wear and everyday shadows. It does work well with loose glitters and pigments. I found that with any other regular shadow that it felt heavy and very glue like. I have yet to find a good way to remove this product as a regular makeup wipe won't do the trick.

I am not sure how I feel about this product. I have very oily eyelids and have tried many eye primers -- my best routine is starting with UD Primer Potion and using Mac's Paint Pot overtop as a base. I used this in place of both and I did experience some heavyness and creasing. I will layer it with one of those products and continue to test. However, it does do its job of holding product, which is nice!
